On this land full of hope and dreams, another F Project of Longsheng Kiln Engineering——a new type of circulating fluidized bed biomass gasifier——has been born. Today, let us walk into the project site and witness how the people of Longsheng, with steel-like determination, write a new chapter of high-quality corporate development on the coast of the South China Sea.

Project F shoulders the important mission of promoting the green transformation of China's shipping industry. The gasifier before us is a key demonstration unit for the future large-scale production of green, low-carbon fuel for ships.

Temperatures as high as 1100°C, combined with the complex biomass gasification reaction environment, impose extremely stringent requirements on the refractory lining. Whether it is the erosion of alkali metals, the reduction of hydrogen, or the purging of high-temperature oxygen, any of these factors can cause serious damage to the refractory materials.

As the refractory material designer and construction contractor for this project, Rongsheng Kiln Engineering collaborated with leading domestic experts. By adopting customized refractory materials and a patented anchoring system, we successfully built a triple defense line featuring erosion resistance, reduction resistance, and thermal shock resistance.

The core breakthrough of Project F lies in its unique circulating fluidized bed structure and the innovative adoption of a two-stage gasification system, which greatly improves the conversion efficiency of biomass raw materials, reaching a leading level in the industry. The project team also specifically enhanced the equipment's operational stability in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, thereby ensuring its long-term and reliable operation.

After more than two months of construction, the new type of circulating fluidized bed biomass gasifier has begun to take shape. For this system, Rongsheng adopted a self-developed multi-layer insulation process.

Mr. Li, what was the biggest challenge during the project‘s advancement?

“There were no precedents to follow and no standards to rely on. Facing a completely new field, the only thing we could do was pursue independent innovation and achieve comprehensive breakthroughs. The team innovatively built a multi-level comprehensive protection system, optimizing everything from material selection to structural design, overcoming challenges such as high-temperature corrosion and system stability. In the end, we ensured the reliability and advanced nature of the entire system.”

During a work break, our camera crew arrived at the Zhanjiang Bay Promenade. We witnessed the magnificent sight of this peaceful sea and deeply felt the strength of our homeland.
