Alumina Lining Brick Introduce
Alumina lining bricks, also known as high-alumina lining bricks or high-alumina ball mill linings, are special wear-resistant ceramic products manufactured from alumina powder through a process comprising granulation, dry pressing, and high-temperature sintering. With a Rockwell hardness of HRA 80–90, second only to diamond, their wear resistance far exceeds that of wear-resistant alloys and manganese steel. These bricks can be directly bonded to the inner walls of wear-prone equipment, extending service life through the superior abrasion resistance of alumina ceramics. Featuring a uniform and homogeneous internal and external structure, the products offer high hardness, high strength, and good toughness, with a service life of up to 3 years or more. They are an ideal lining solution for ball mills and dryers.

1. The lining brick thickness should be appropriately adjusted based on the hardness of the material to be ground and the expected service life. For example, in gypsum modification applications where the material is relatively soft, the brick thickness can be reduced to save costs. Conversely, for artificial glass pulverizing, the brick thickness can be increased to extend service life.
2. The required quantity of lining bricks can be estimated based on the lining area of the ball mill and the brick thickness. Alternatively, a more detailed calculation can be made by taking into account the brick type, thickness, and ball mill dimensions to determine the quantity required for each specific brick type.

Application of Alumina Lining Brick
